Kitchen Cabinets
Scanza specializes in making beautiful, practical kitchens for homes and self-catering accommodation units. The bottom cupboards come with a slat design door shutter and the top cabinets with glass doors. There are also drawer sections, kitchen islands, breakfast counters and a variety of specialized shelving to satisfy specific individual needs. The tops are usually produced from locally sourced wood but stone tops may also be supplied upon request.
Shop Fittings
Scanza has worked closely with a variety of Zanzibar’s shop owners over the years to create purpose built display counters, shelves, tables and hangers all to suit their individual style and requirements.
Interiors
Scanza specializes in Cocowood flooring but has also been involved in the design, engineering and production of staircases, roofing (under structure), cladding, decorative panels and screens.
Doors
Scanza has produced hundreds of doors in a variety of designs over the years – Zanzibar doors, sliding, folding and swing doors, encompassing panels, louvers and glass. The preferred standard is however the T&G design in Cocowood, double or single with hinged shutters.
Windows
Curved, straight, ‘slimline’ and sliding – Scanza has no standard window, only producing to suit your requirement.
Offices
Scanza produces office desks and boardroom tables, suited to the standard chairs. Also, shelving and lockable drawers and filing cabinets, and even wooden frames for all those certificates and pictures.
Bars
Scanza produces bar counters and associated shelving mainly to customer specifications. We work together with the owners, managers and designers to construct their wishes using locally available materials and generally assist in finding the best possible solution, drawing on our years of experience.
Restaurants
Scanza Carpentry Workshop can produce quantities of restaurant tables and chairs and other service furniture of matching and uniform size and construction. Whilst incorporating combinations of elements to suit each different location.
Reception Counters
From office receptions to shop cash counters and hotel front office receptions, tour booking desks and spa counters, Scanza has made examples of them all.
Bedrooms
Scanza’s bedroom collection encompasses a wide variety of items, including beds, dressers and cupboards, all necessary for comfort and practicality, whether for your home or your hotel guests. Different sizes and designs can be commissioned to suit your need.
